Mayo Company Finalist in ‘Silicon Valley comes to Ireland’ Event
The Irish Technology Leadership Group (ITLG), a group of executives and technology leaders headquartered in Silicon Valley, and focused on helping Irish start-up companies, is leading a delegation of high level executives & investors to Dublin.

At the 4th Annual ITLG “Silicon Valley Comes to Ireland” Event, the group of executives and investors plan to engage with a number of Irish emerging technology companies in a series of private investor workshops at Dublin City University. Following the DCU event ten companies will be chosen to present at the Annual ITLG Innovation Awards at Stanford University in California in Spring 2012.

One company that has been selected by the ITLG to be showcased is a Mayo software company. The company, eSports Manager, is Irelands largest provider of Sports Software and is located in Castlebar, Co Mayo.

eSports Manager (eSM) uses web & mobile technology to reduce work for sports administrators & keep sports players & enthusiasts informed. Over 60% of Sport Organisations in Ireland use eSports Manager. This year the system will manage 70,000 fixtures and 3,800 club competitions.

eSports Manager is delighted to have come to the attention of the ITLG. Seamus Kyne, Managing Director explains “The ITLG is a formidable group with contacts in some of the biggest companies in the world it can open many doors for Irish companies” ITLG executives include the Chairman of the Board of Intel, Senior Vice President of Cisco, Vice President of Intel and former Mayor of San Jose, California.

“Being chosen to present to the ITLG is an excellent endorsement of our software and recognition for the service our team supplies to amateur sport in Ireland” says Kyne. The eSM platform distributes ‘live’ fixtures, results & league tables on the web, mobile, smartphone, social media and newspapers to an estimated 950,000 sports enthusiasts.

eSports Manager is committed to supplying services at a low-cost to sports organisations with major brands picking up the shortfall. For example Sports Clubs can avail of a Club Website for €363 while 1,500 sports clubs can receive a ‘live’ feed of their club fixtures, results and league tables to their club website. This data feed comes directly from official Competition Administrators (Co Board/Branch/League) so it is accurate and up-to-the minute.

The eSports Manager platform is used by Muster/Leinster/Connaught Rugby, Basketball Ireland, 22 GAA County Boards, Munster Hockey, some Ladies Gaelic, Camogie, Handball and Soccer leagues. It also has a number of sports users in London, North America and UAE.
