Gaels who use www.donegalgaa.ie to keep up to date with the goings-on in Donegal GAA are in for a pleasant surprise on Thursday, (December 10th) when the website will be revamped. The new-look official home of Donegal GAA online will go live on Thursday afternoon and according to John Lee, of website designers eSportsmanager, “will be a lot more modern looking and opens the way to provide a lot more functionality in terms of what can be provided.”

Donegal County Board PRO, Seamus O’Donnell is well pleased with the new design: “The website has proved to be an enormous success – we’ve had people check in on Donegal GAA from all over the world so the website is a very important tool for conveying news to Gaels from here to China. We’re averaging over 75,000 page impressions a month and the new-look website will allow us to provide more information in a very concise well-laid out way.”

According to Seamus, two of the major improvements relate to the Photo Gallery – which has been updated and improved – as well as an Events Calendar which allows users access information on upcoming events.
