On behalf of the members of Westport Golf Club, I would like to welcome all visitors to our new website. We have made every effort to highlight what we feel is the best parkland golfing experience in Ireland.

Our aim in developing this site was to leave no stone unturned in relation to highlighting the unique experience that our town of Westport has to offer.

As Captain in 2011 and speaking on behalf of all previous members who have had the privilege of holding this office, I can guarantee you and your guests a special experience at Westport Golf Club on the shores of Clew Bay, where Croagh Patrick follows every shot and where US Open Champion Rory McIlroy secured his first ever senior National Title (Irish Amateur Close) back in 2005.

Paul McGinley has described our 15th "as one of my favourite par 5s in the world", so why not come and join me now (via youtube) at our feature hole, the famous 15th.....
