What an amazing weekend of hurling by our two Feile U14 hurling teams. The B team were beaten in the semifinal vs Na Fianna after a great day in Ellenfield, they had played their hearts out, stopping Na Fianna from scoring in the 2nd half. Our A team were hugely successful in the final in Parnell Park overcoming a strong Faughs team to win Div. 2 Feile for the first time in thirty years. Well done to all the lads on both teams, they did their club & their parents proud. Well done also to their mentors Seamus Curtis, Niall Sheridan, Shane Noonan & Lorcan Maher for the A team & John Power & Beano Cullen for the B team. Thanks to all the mammy's who made sandwiches & cakes & helped to look after all the teams who visited our club over the weekend. Minor footballers were narrowly beaten by St Colmcilles from Longford in Cloghran last Saturday, all will be corrected in the return match. Congrats to U13 Hurler Mikey Noonan who won the Boys Feile na nGael National Schools Skills competition in Parnell Park last Tuesday.
