The long delayed J J Kavanagh & Son Senior Football Relegation Final takes place on Saturday next in Carriganore with a 2pm throw in.

St. Saviours have been waiting for this one for quite some time due to the Junior Hurling three game County Final saga and Ballinameels's subsequent involvement in the Munster Club championship.

I the meantime St Saviours have had the benefit of the 2010 Phelan Cup final win over Kilrossanty and confidence should be high going into Saturday's game.

But Ballinameela will want to prolong their stay in the senior grade and will not give this one up easily.

Maurice Condon on the whistle could have his hands full with this one.

Throw in on Saturday is at 2pm. In the event of a draw this game will go to a replay!
