Ardmore Minors clinched the final Minor Hurling title of 2011 when they defeated Kilrossanty in Clashmore on Saturday in the Division 4 Final.

Over the course of the game the Ardmore boys were the more polished outfit and were in control throughout. Played on a 12 a side basis, the Division 4 Championship has thrown up some fine contests.

On this ocasion the extra space on the field as a result of 12 a side suited Ardmore and they made good use of the "extra" space. Their hurling was crisper and they found scores easier to come by.

Kilrossanty put up stiff opposition in the first half but once James Salmon found the net for Ardmore late on in the half the outcome was never in doubt.

In the second half Ardmore pushed on and ran out winners 4 - 15 to 0 - 8.
