Western Lakes CC AGM

Will take place on Friday the 11th of November at 8pm at the Parish centre Cornmarket Ballinrobe. There are quite a few positions up up change, its up to YOU the member to help out by going forward for the committee. There are only a handful of meeting per year as must communication is done over email. Please try and attend.

Want to try BMX riding !

Ballinrobe has Mayo's only BMX track with its ramps, burms and banked corners making it one of the best play ground's for anyone. Western Lakes CC organize supervised sessions every Monday evenings from 6.30pm at the track on the Kilmaine road (underneath the water towers) Ballinrobe. Want to try a special session then Thursday the 3rd of November club members will have a demonstration and participation session for anyone who wants a go, the club have some BMX bikes for use but best  bring your own.The track is floodlit so need for lights on your bike. Club Training spins

Every Sunday from 9.50am at the Cornmarket Ballinrobe, open to all abilities, make sure bike is in good working order preferably a racing bike, bring spare tube, pump, tire levers and some pocket money. It also recommended that everyone fit mudguards, helps keep you dry and your fellow members clean from splatters.    

Mayo Cycling League AGM

Takes place on Wednesday the 9th of November at the TF Royal hotel Castlebar @ 8pm. Western Lakes CC must send 2 members to this meeting, anyone interested in helping or changing the Mayo cycling scene please let me know.  

Connacht MTB League

Rd 3 takes place on Sunday the 13th of November in Cong woods, New course with Parking for all MTB people at the carpark on the approach to Cong, No parking allowed for MTB riders at church carpark. Sign on from 10.30am, Race start for Adults at 11am, Youths 11.10am  

Spin and fitness classes

There are still places available for both,  the Circuit class on Monday nights 7-8, and 8 to 9pm. Spinning Thursdays 2 classes, 7-8, and 8 to 9pm
