The Loughrea triathlon will be held on Sunday, September 9th, 2012.

Entrants are advised to register early as the event is expected to sell out well before the closing date.

This year, as every year,  Loughrea Triathlon will consist of two events.

• The Loughrea Sprint Triathlon

• The Loughrea Junior Triathlon

In the Sprint Triathlon alone we expect to have over 500 entries making it one of the largest and friendliest triathlons West of the Shannon.

This year we will be hosting the 2012 National Championship Triathlon for  Children.
