Mayo under 18 team progresed to the quarter finals of the National Inter League competition today after defeating Sligo by two goals to nil.

 A fine strike from Ryan Helly 15 minutes into the game, that the Sligo keeper was unable to hold gave Mayo a half time lead. The lead was doubled early in the second half when Kenny Hunt finished well.
