A very Happy Christmas and Peaceful New Year to all our players, officials, clubs, sponsors and all our Gaels and friends around the world from Longford County Board.

2010 will go down in history for many reasons, and we all shared and take away special memories from the past twelve months, ladies winning their third Leinster title in a row, Slashers bridged a 16-year gap (special moment for all the sky blues), footballers defeating Mayo in the Qualifiers, hurlers capture their first Lory Meagher Cup and the county minors made us all proud Longford Gaels when winning the Leinster Minor Football Championship.

A special thank you to all who helped with Longford GAA Online, Padraic O’Brien and the Longford Leader, Jonathan O’Meara, James Donnelly, Shane Henry, Thomas and Niall Kelly, Secretary Peter O’Reilly and finally outgoing PRO John Duffy.

A special note to all who have lost loved ones during 2010. 

As you can see our website is experiencing some difficulties at the present moment, we are in the process of redesigning our website and we will be up-and-running early in the New Year.
