Ladies Board Weekly Notes

All clubs are asked to contact Dolores Kiernan by Friday 26th of February to let her know if they are interested in taking part in the Gold Cup competition this year.

Clubs are also asked to send in names and contact details of any U-14 players eligible to play for the county U-14 team before Friday to Dolores.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Liam Forde and Amanda O’Hara who are training the uU-14s, Michael Mulvey, Andrew Kavanagh and Sinead Macken who are training the U-16s and minor this year.

Longford Ladies wish to thank the Mullinalaghta club for their invitation to their presentation night held on Saturday last in the Community Hall in Mullinalaghta and also attended by Geraldine Giles, former president.

Well done to the Longford ladies who defeated Wexford on Sunday and the best of luck to them playing away to Waterford in two weeks time.

The U-14 and U-16 teams will also soon be out in the Leinster Championship so best of luck to all concerned.
