Young Whistlers referees course

Each school in the county is invited to send one 5th class student to attend the Young Whistlers training course in Pearse Park on Tuesday 26th January. The course will begin at 7.30pm sharp.

The Young Whistlers course enhances the participants understanding of the rules of refereeing and gives the children a basis from which to begin refereeing in the future.

There will be a presentation night in March where each participant will be invited into a Go Games evening and will be presented with a refereeing kit.

The county coaching committee hope to offer children the opportunity to referee youth games in the coming months. Further details of this awards night will be given at the training night. We look forward to seeing our future referees on Tuesday 26th.
