As you aware the Men's Olympic Qualifier takes place in UCD, Dublin from the 10th March to 18th March (inc.) 2012.

The schedule of the  Irish games are as follows:

Saturday 10th March;

2.30 p.m.                                 Ireland                        v          Russia

Sunday 11th March;

3.00 p.m.                                 Ukraine           v          Ireland

Tuesday 13th March;

6.00 p.m.                                 Ireland                        v          Korea

Thursday 15th March;

6.00 p.m.                                 Chile                v          Ireland

Saturday 17th March;

3.30 p.m.                                 Ireland                        v          Malaysia

Sunday 18th March;

In order to facilitate attendance at this Tournament and to give all involved in hockey every opportunity of supporting the Senior Men in their quest for Olympic Qualification all Fixtures for the two weekends have been rescheduled to alternative dates (please check Branch website).

The Men's teams while not the highest ranked team will be considered capable of  achieving the qualifying position due to home advantage and a strong level of support. Therefore the rescheduling of matches allows us all to maximise that support.

If  for some specific reason agreed by both teams they wish to play competitive games on either week end they must obtain approval from the Fixtures Committee.

Lets give the Irish Men every support as they set out to achieve an historical achievement for Irish Hockey.

The Irish Women commence their quest for Olympic Qualification  starting on the 17th March to 25th March (inc.) in Antwerp Belgium and also deserve our support in their objective.
