St John Bosco ‘Seniors’

As part of our social initiative for those aged 60+ the St John Bosco GAC  in partnership with Newry Gaelic League-Gaeláras  Mhic Ardghail  are organising a heritage visit to Armagh Gaol on Thursday 23^rd February at 3.00. (tour lasts one hour). This visit marks the end of the very successful Winter series of heritage and language classes organised to help combat social isolation among the older members of our community. A Spring and Summer series of events are currently being planned.

Annual Presentation Night

The senior/minor presentation night is being held in the Cusack Lounge in the clubrooms on Saturday 25^th February commencing at 8:00 p.m. All welcome!

Registration Day

The 2012 Registration Day is being held on Sunday 26^th February in the St John Bosco Youth Club Chequer Hill starting at 2:00 p.m. All mentors, players, parents, grandparents and family members are all invited to attend.

Golden Jubilee Celebrations

2013 marks the Golden Jubilee of Cumann Naomh Eoin Bosco. Bunaithe 1963 - the club has been at the heart of the Newry community for almost 50 years. Plans are currently been developed for 12 months of comprehensive celebrations with  all of our partners who are part of our success including the Parish of Newry, local schools, our community and St Catherine’s Concert Band. All players, members, friends, supporters and Bosco families past, present and future are invited to join and be part of the celebrations.

Irish language Clubs

In response to increased demand the Irish language clubs held every Wednesday night that were due to finish this week have been extended until Wednesday 14^th March.
