GAA Oral History Project Deadline

Dear County Volunteers,
Well it's the time you thought would never come - the end of collecting for the GAA Oral History Project.
As I mentioned in my last email the deadline for receipt of items to the project is the 31st Dec 2011. This deadline is fixed and any items we receive after this date will NOT be included in the project archive.
With that in mind, can I ask you to please put out one final call for contributions to the clubs, schools and communities in your county. We want to ensure that everybody has had every possible opportunity to tell their story and have it preserved for future generations in the GAA Museum in Croke Park.
In addition, can you please ensure that any items which you have received over the course of your involvement with the project are sent to us well in advance of our deadline - if you have any questionnaires, club histories, school projects, photographs, interviews etc. which may be hiding in cupboards or under the stairs please do seek them out now and get them to us J. If you have received items without paperwork, please do send them on too, we can follow up on the paperwork after the 31st Dec, but we won't be able to accept material after that point.
We of course are also looking forward to hearing your own personal stories, so please make sure that you either fill in a questionnaire or send us a letter / email with your own memories or stories. Attached for one final time is our questionnaire!

Finally, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all most sincerely for all the help, time and effort you've given to me and to the project over the last few years. There is no doubt that the success of the project in your counties has been due to the amount of input you have so willingly given, so thank you.
