Bhain na daoine seo leanas €20 an ceann James & Mary O’Donnell Arranmore, Jason O’Donnell Arranmore, Conor McCready Dungloe, Danny Rodgers Meenmore agus Kevin McGonagle Sheskinarone.
The senior team were in league action away to Ardara on Saturday evening and collected a valuable two points. Winning on a score-line of An Clochan Liath 0-14 Ardara 1-5. The teams were level at half time, Dungloe having played with the breeze but a strong second half meant that the Rosses men collected two points. Best for Dungloe were Jamie Sweeney, James Boyle and Noel McBride.
The second draw for the Third series of the 200 Club was held on Sunday night the 29th of August and the winners are as follows for the month of August, 1st €1,000 – Liam Sweeney Burtonport, 2nd €500 – Nancy McCready Loughsalt, 3rd €300 – Packie McDevitt 4th €100 – Bella Bonner Falmore, 5th €100 – David Alcorn Burtonport. Well done to all the winners and thanks to everyone for their continued support. This will go towards the development of our facilities at Pairc na Rosann.
Well done to the Minor team who defeated Naomh Columba in the Div 2 Regional final on Wednesday night. Dungloe ran away with this game by 10 points in the end but it was far from comfortable, the first 10 mins saw them trail by 7 points . Dungloe upped the tempo from there on with Chris Mc Glynn grabbing two goals to take them into the break 1 point up. The second half belonged to Dungloe with Conor Greene in fine form for Dungloe hitting a great goal to end all hopes of a Naomh Columba fight back, final score Dungloe 5-09 to 2-08.
