Club Tir Chonaill Initiative Information

Thank you for taking the time to consider the recently launched Club Tir Chonaill Centre of Excellence initiative. I am enclosing the Donegal GAA Centre of Excellence Brochure and a Standing Order Form for your consideration.
We would ask you to consider assisting us in achieving our targets for 2012 by making a contribution of €500 to the Centre of Excellence initiative. This can be undertaken by a single contribution of€500, two installments of €250, five monthly installments of €100 or five annual installments of €100. The payment options are set out in the enclosed Standing Order Form. We are aiming to achieve donations of €500 from 200 people before 31 May 2012, with further targets set for the rest of the year. We would be very grateful if you would consider assisting us in achieving these targets.
For your information, the Donegal GAA Centre of Excellence has been designated by the Revenue as an approved Capital Project (No. R-1l-19-14). This means that donors who are Income Tax registered (Self- Assessed) can claim back the tax element of the donation. In the case of an individual who is PAYE registered only, Donegal GAA can claim back the tax element of the donation. See tables below.

Note: The Minimum Amount is €250.00 per year to
qualify for tax break. There is
no tax break on €lOO.OO per
year for five years.
We appreciate the difficulties facing our supporters in the current economic environment. However, these funds are essential for the future development of the GAA in Donegal and for the development and welfare of our future generations of Donegal GAA players. All donors contributing €500.00 or above will have their names recorded in perpetuity on a plaque at the new Centre of Excellence facility.
