Exciting fare emerges in Cork Scór na nÓg finalsTEENAGERS across the county left the post New Year celebrations to offer up prime and visually exciting entertainment in the hugely successful Permanent TSB Cork County Scór na nÓg Finals hosted in the Eire Og GAA Pavilion, Ovens on January 3rd. GAA clubs countywide participated in the diverse and varied feast of cultural fare in music, song and dance. All categories produced keen competition for a capacity attendance and at the end of an enthralling programme, outright honours were distributed throughout the county. The prizes were presented by Liam O Laochdha, Cork County Board Cultural Officer and Pat Malone, Chairman of Cork County Scór. Daithí Pierse from the Glanworth compered the proceedings as Fear An Tí. Cork's new champions progress to the Munster Scór na nÓg semi finals in the Eire Og GAA Pavilion, Ovens on next Saturday night at 7pm. Participating teams come from Cork, Kerry and Waterford.
